Greetings from Maine! We’ve been here for a post-Oktoberfest break, and I’ve been working on the Convivio Dispatch for Hallowe’en, which has become a bit of an annual tradition. The Dispatch goes out via email, not via this blog. The Convivio Dispatch is more an exercise in creative nonfiction… short stories and rambles delivered to your inbox on occasion (lately, that means a couple times a year). If you don’t already receive the Convivio Dispatch, and can handle having a couple of extra emails sent your way each year, then please consider subscribing. You may do so by clicking right here.

I’m not sure if you’ll hear from me here on this Book of Days channel before Hallowe’en, and I’m also not entirely sure we’ll have a Convivio Book of Days Calendar for November ready for you by the First of November, but I’ll do my best. As for the Convivio Dispatch for Hallowe’en: It’s one of my favorite things to write each year, so I do hope you’ll sign up to receive it.

That’s all for now. Enjoy your autumnal days.
